The Speed of Love
Not the “go to” song for most Rush fans, but every band needs to have something that places lower on the ranking. For my part, analyzing all of these songs allows me to appreciate them more so, again, on a deeper level, etc., etc.
Looking back on 2003
Ten years ago, I was posting recollections of a Guitar Craft project held in the autumn of 2003. Earlier this week, I posted a post performance photo that depicted September 12th. Clearly I neglected to post it here. Perhaps it will materialize.
Anyway, the schedule of activities listed below illustrate what occurred on the 16th of September. Clearly I was the House Manager that day. It was my responsibility to type and post the schedule. Apparently “much work on Trapiche” (repertoire, not a bottle of wine) occupied our morning. My capitalized o & f in Voice of Ancient Children was intentional. When the individual who would began VoAC spoke the title when we verbalized (to memorize) the setlist, he stressed the “of” thus creating a stress in its name every time someone spoke it.
